Since 1997, the Crank Brothers have gone a long way since their Laguna Beach garage days creating bike pedals, wheels, dropper posts, pumps and tools and accessories.
Now, they engineer mountain bike components tested and approve by world-class athletes.
And of the coolest tools offered by the Crank Brothers is their F10+ and F15 tools.
I’m reviewing the Crank Brothers F10+ multi-tool which comes with a #2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 hex wrench, a Phillips #2 and Flathead #1, a Torx T-25 and a has a built -in bottle opener on its case, which the case is also magnetized to hold the tools.
Crank Brothers offers a warranty of 5 years. So, that’s fantastic!
What I like about the product is how small it is to carry around during a long ride, well-made and I tested to see how strong the magnet was in holding the tools and sure enough the tools stayed snugly attached to the case without falling out.
For those who need a spoke wrench will want to move up to the 15+ multi-tool (it’s only $7 more).
It’s important for me to also let people know that Crank Brothers also sells an M19 tool set which offers more including a lifetime warranty and is almost $9 cheaper on Amazon (depending on the color).
But the benefit of the F10+ is that it’s the size of a bubble gum packet, can easily fit in a pocket without a bulge and has a cool magnetic case.
But whichever you pick, may it be the F10+, F15 or the M19, you can’t go wrong!
