The One about a cool, non-crowded place to take pictures before going to Wadakura Fountain Park or the Imperial Palace

I love finding new places in Tokyo to capture reflections in the water of buildings or trees.

You can find most places at parks but right near Marunouchi Police Station Wada Kuramongai Police Box is a bridge that takes you to Wadakura Fountain Park (which I wrote about a while back).

But before you get to the park, there is a bridge right next to the police station and there is a pool of water that is part of the water that goes around the Imperial Palace.

What I like about this area is 1) It’s not as green and yucky like the water around the Imperial Palace  2) You can really capture cool reflections 3) It’s not as crowded.

If you tried to take these photos near Imperial Palace, more than likely you will see a lot of joggers because the location is very popular among joggers/runners.  But just across the street from the Imperial Palace is this bridge area with water that is not as murky and green and you can really capture gorgeous clouds and trees in the reflection.

Granted, it’s not like a tranquil forest/park area with a shrine, but still, it’s a cool place to take photos.

And of course, just go up the bridge and to your left is Wadakura Fountain Park, where you can take even more photos.

But if you are looking for a cool place to take photos with a bridge, from the bridge and more.  Definitely visit this not-so-crowded area by the Imperial Palace.
