After leaving Miharashi Village, walking towards the path, you will enter an area called Hinano Hayashi Woods.
If you thought the Hitachinaka Natural Forest was the primary forest, you’ll quickly learn that Hitachi Seaside Park has more smaller areas that are considered forests or woods.
As mentioned, the area is smaller and as you continue to walk, you then enter another forest area known as Kinen no Mori Forest and inside the forest is a rest house and Narcissus Hill. I thought it was pretty cool to see areas where bird watchers can be as high up the trees to take photos or look at birds through their binoculars.
While I looked around the area, I found it tranquil but of course the difference is that this is more towards the opposite end of the west entrance, so you will see more people around the path compared to Hitachinaka Nature Forest (where you will probably see a jogger or two).
But for the most part, this is another example to the allure of the Hitachi Seaside Park. So many things to experience and see and every quarter mile, a whole new different attraction.
