The One about My Vegetable Garden Plans for 2017

This year, California has received so much rain that it has helped alleviate our drought problem.

But still, we need to practice safe watering because we are not necessarily out of the woods yet.  And that means, I will need to find other means of having a vegetable garden.

For the past few years, I avoided doing any gardening because of the drought and that the type of gardening I did, required a lot of water.

But when I plant and grow my own vegetables organically, I feel better.  I feel healthier.  And also, all the work that goes into it is almost a solid workout, in addition to my daily workout.  So, there is so many positives of why to grow your own vegetables.  And if you are a veggie fan like me, it’s definitely worth doing.

For 2017, having rain water reserves (thanks to my DIY rain barrels) and also able to use water on designated days, I am going to focus on container-based gardening.
