Since 1997, Totes Isotoner Corporation has long since supplied America with the Totes umbrellas, rain hats, rubber footwear. While its ISOTONER brand is known for winter gloves, hats and slippers (and their ESNY brand focused on their Occasions wedding footwear).
But the ISOTONER brand has long been around thanks to its original company, Aris Glove Company was founded back in 1910. As ISOTONER nylon/spandex glove became the company’s lead product and in 1969, the company was known as ARIS>>ISOTONER would continue the trend of ISOTONER gloves for the next three decades until Totes would acquire the company.
While I primarily wear all leather gloves during the winter, I still have much love for ISOTONER, as these were the gloves I grew up wearing.
And recently, I had the opportunity to review the ISOTONER Signature SmarTouch Fleece Palm Gloves.
The gloves feature dual lining which retains 15% more warmth while providing superior flexibility with its THERMAflex Core technology.
The gloves are made of 96% polyester and 4% spandex for its shell back woven portion. While its shell back knit portion is 100% polyester.
The palm portion is 94% polyester and 6% lycra spandex and the lining for the gloves are 100% polyester.
The gloves can only be handwashed in cool water and air dry flat away from heat. Do no bleach these gloves.
The gloves fit to size compared to other gloves I have (which is size large) and they definitely kept my hand warm. Granted, reviewing these in the not-so-chill October, will no doubt utilize these more in a few months from now.
I did test out the tech portion to make sure I can use this on a smartphone and tablet. Most gloves with the tech feature a portion of a finger that can utilize a touchscreen, but this glove felt much more convenient and had no problems using a smart phone or tablet via its touch screen features with this glove.
It’s important to note that these gloves are not waterproof, they are strictly for those in a cold area needing casual gloves meant to warm your hands but not so much for being around snow or heavy rain.
Overall, these gloves will no doubt keep my hands warm and I can find myself utilizing using these gloves often during the winter or to keep in my car during the winter time and access them when I ever I go out driving.
But it’s great that after all these years, ISOTONER continues to create a variety of gloves by keeping your hands warm during the cold weather, keeping consistent with quality that they have done for all these years and selling them at an affordable price. And also, to use them with touch screens… with no hassle. I definitely recommend these Istoner Men’s Tech Stretch SmarTouch Fleece Palm Gloves!
