On 26th of February, during the Milan Fashion Week, Meissen Couture presented the new Autumn/Winter 15/16 collection in its Milan headquarter: the wonderful Villa Meissen, in Via Monte Napoleone 3.
According to Meissen Couture:
“Among the Wildflowers” is the motif of the collection that interprets the strength and the energy of the wild flowers into beautiful, elegant dresses.
Chief designer Frida Weyer presented the collection which included elaborately hand-embroidered lush flower arrangements appear effortlessly sprinkled across the luxurious couture robes. Opulent rings of flowers nestle against the flowing silhouettes. Fine pearls and sparkling crystals create a multifaceted radiant dance which is amplified by pure gold, rose gold and silver. Gold is the thread that weaves through this collection and lends the motifs the necessary drama.
The designer underlines the sensuality of her creations with elegant silk – whether using the matt-transparent elegance of silk chiffon, voluminous silk tulle or even imposing silk organza.
The collection was an ode to nature as a source of femininity and all life.
During the presentation, while the models where on spectacular floral settings like in a tableau vivant, Christian Kurtzke, Meissen Worldwide CEO, and Ileana Turrini, PR Manager, received lots of international guests among two special ones: the beautiful fencing Olympic champion Britta Heidemann and the young and noble Alicia Von Rittberg, who last year played with Brad Pitt in the American movie “Fury”.
