When it comes to auto-sealing mugs, Contigo makes one of the better auto-sealing mugs in the market and also produce a variety of stylish mugs in different colors as well.
But with the release of Contigo’s Autoseal West Loop Stainless Steel travel mug, it was hard to resist this charcoal dark gray steel mug especially that it would keep coffee, tea or any hot liquids hot for up to 5 hours and cold beverages up to 12 hours. And for the most part, I was confident in the autoseal technology that Contigo mugs tend to have.
But for the most part, I used this for coffee, hot chocolate and tea and this travel mug has been so useful because it retains the heat thoroughly, that I’m quite impressed. Even maintaining cold drinks as well.
The Contigo Autoseal West Loop also offers a lifetime warranty which is a plus.
It’s important to note that the Autoseal will not last forever and for some, as indicated by various reviews, the experiences are YMMV as these do last but at one length, everyone seems to have had varying experiences and in mine, they have last quite a long time.
With that being said, the Contigo’s Autoseal West Loop Stainless Steel travel mug busy people always on the go, while they are out on the freeway before or after work or a long commute and need a travel mug they can trust in keeping their beverages warm and cold but also, one that you have control over and not having to worry of it spilling/leaking all over your clothes.
I have had no issues cleaning this mug and for the most part, It’s a very awesome travel mug with the dependable auto sealing technology that has worked for me!
