I have been looking for a deal on urchin lures because the original from Japan is way too expensive, because it’s the trendiest lure of 2026, other brands sell them quite expensive and purchasing them online, more often you get smaller sized ones with big tentacles.
I wanted one like actual Japanese coike but to get that, you will need to find a deal on the 4.33 inch urchin lures and having reviewed numerous urchin lures, this generic pack comes with 10 XL 4.33 inch.
It’s important to note that the seller incorrectly put 20 pieces when it’s actually 10 pieces for $29.99, but do know that in advance before purchasing.
So, under $30 sounds a lot for 10. But considering one of them goes for $15-$25, $30 for 10 is not so bad of a deal. And that these are the XL versions (equivalent to other brand’s large), not the small or mid-sized versions either. You can purchase it in flashing red or flashing brown. I opted for flashing red with the dark center and white tentacles with red flakes. Otherwise, if you want a darker color, the brown will suffice (too bad there is no green pumpkin variant from this seller).
Sure, the urchin baits/artificial lures are quite popular right now and everyone is cashing in on them by selling them for very expensive prices, but I will say that for $10 at under $30, considering the alternatives, the price is not so bad afterall and they are of a better quality than other non-branded urchin baits that I have tried. So, do know that.
Overall, if you are wanting a deal for ten large urchin lures that won’t hurt the wallet, give these generic brand versions a try!
