There are numerous ways to catch a carp, but one way that has made it easier for anglers that don’t want to carry a rig with multiple hooks can use a Ronnie Rig.
The DONQL Ronnie Rigs come with 12 pieces and are offered in 4#, 6#, 8# and 10# and it costs under $7.75.
So, how does these Ronnie Rings work? Well, the DONQL makes it easy because everything is all done, no need to do anything special or add to the hook, everything is on it (including the barrel swivel and heat shrink tubing). The only thing you will need to do is add a circular floater (sold separately) which you attach to the screw portion.
So, what this does is that with your sinker in the bottom, the hook will float to the top with the circular floater and if you attach your corn to the hook, it makes the carp bite the hook easier.
Overall, it would be perfect if they included 12 ball floaters to go with the Ronnie Rigs but if you are wanting to catch carp, definitely give the DONQL Ronnie Rigs (12 pieces / 8#) a try!
