I have been using the AKVTO Monofilament Fishing Line as my emergency leader line and backing line.
For those not familiar with AKvto, this is a fishing brand known for their fishing lines (mono, fluoro, braided) and also have fishing lures and accessories. The brand is owned by manufacturing company DYLS in China. The Monofilament line is known for its exceptional strength reliability and value and the 1000 yard value spooled version comes in purple, clear, orange and blacks.
Having had success with two different types of AKvto lines, I’m quite confident in saying that they make really great, durable monofilament fishing line.
At under $16, I was able to get a 14.5lb. (0.23mm) monofilament fishing line with 1000 yards and AKvto really delivers when it comes to inexpensive, but yet durable, high quality fishing line.
It’s more designated for lightweight fishing and I opted for the 14.5 lb., 0.23mm line and like other AKvto products, easy to tie up a line and tested this over the weekend and was able to catch fish, but also a lot of heavy vegetation and surprisingly no line snapping.
So, the AKvto Monofilament Fishing Line, 1000 Yards, 4.5-14.5 LB Test, Fresh and Saltwater Nylon Line has held up very well and I do recommend it!
