The One about the SHAWZK 2-Packs Fishing Knot Tying Tool

While knot tying is an essential learning experience for anglers, for the casual person going out fishing and wanting to tie a knot without injury from a hook, will want to use a fish knot tying tool.

The SHAWZK 2-Packs Fishing Knot Tying Tool is such an easy concept and that is open the tool’s case, place a hook inside (hooks from 28 to 4/0 can be use). Close the case and then thread your line into the hook’s eye and then twist the tool around 7-8 times, take the end of the line and run it through the hook’s eye again and then once around the hole loop and that is it. It’s pretty much a clinch knot.

I tend to put a little saliva into the line (or you can use water) if you are using fluoro but I also have a fishing plier to pull the line tighter. While you can use the line cutter on the back of the tool (which can cut a line up to 50 lb.), you can just use your fishing plier/scissor if needed.

What is the big metal part on the bottom of the tool? It’s pretty much so you can hook it up to a belt, keychain or fishing bag.

The tool is made of plastic and depending on how much you use it, is subjective when it comes to durability, but I buy several of these to keep in my main tackle box and travel fishing cases, as they are inexpensive.

Overall, the SHAWZK 2-Packs Fishing Knot Tying Tool is recommended!
