Saitama Arena Co., Ltd. (8 Shintoshin, Chuo-ku, Saitama City) will be holding the experiential event “SAITAMA SUPER Rainbow Trout Festival” from May 29th (Fri) to 31st (Sun), 2026, on the 2nd floor of Saitama Shintoshin Keyaki Hiroba. Momokawa Nijimasu, a VTuber known as “Uomusume,” has been appointed as the official ambassador for this event.
The “SAITAMA SUPER Rainbow Trout Festival” is Japan’s largest rainbow trout-focused event, aiming to convey the fun and deliciousness of eating fish to a wide range of generations through activities such as catching rainbow trout by hand, fishing, grilling, and food education experiences. It is planned as an opportunity for people of all ages, from children to adults, to enjoy and experience fish-eating culture.
This time, we are pleased to welcome Momokawa Nijimasu, who is popular for her wide range of activities including music, cooking, and fishing, as our official ambassador, among the “Uomusume” (fish girls) who promote various things with a fish theme, to help us convey the appeal of the event to even more people.
Momokawa Nijimasu is a “gal” character who is active as a first-generation member of “Uomusume,” and has attracted attention as an approachable person who loves music and cute things. Her appointment was realized because the worldview of the project, which is to make fish and fishing feel more familiar to people, and the desire of this event to promote food education and fish-eating culture through “catching, grilling, and eating” overlap.
A life-size panel of Momokawa Nijimasu will be set up in the experience area within the venue to liven up the event.
At the venue, in addition to rainbow trout catching/fishing experiences, there will also be koi fishing and other free fish-related activities. Admission is free (experiences and merchandise sales are charged), and it can be enjoyed by a wide range of visitors, including families.
