As an angler, when I’m fishing in areas with riprap (a permanent layer of large, heavy, angular stones or concrete chunks strategically placed along shorelines, riverbanks, and bridge abutments) and the safest way to fish is having a net nearby as you don’t fall or slip on the rocks. And it makes even better when the rod portion can reach farther to grab that fish.
But a lot of the nets have a wide variety of extension and to be truth, the extension is not all that great. It’s best to have section-based rods for the net and what I enjoy about the Net Catcher 3 in 1 Kit, Adjustable from 33″ to 79″ is that it allows me to extend farther than my other nets.
At under $26, this next comes with a 4-in-1 adjustable rod (60.6 inches) that has parts that can be screwed on. But the best part is that you have two types of nets (one that is 18.1 inches in width with bigger holes, the other is 16.3 inches in width with smaller holes). For fishing, this is great, because there is a net that allows for bigger fish that you don’t have to worry about your hooks getting caught, and you have the smaller net.
Of course, this net is advertised for poultry and catching chickens, that’s why you have the big next, smaller net, a storage bag and a metal piece to grab their feet if the chicken or ducks are on the run but again, I got this for the fishing aspect only.
The net rod is easy to put together as they are screw on, but the challenge (not much of a challenge but will take time) is once you extend the arms of the net, you may need to adjust to get the net to cover all around the net holder.
As I will probably use the bigger net primarily when I’m out catching larger bass and carp, the net with smaller holes works perfectly as well. But I know that my Carp spring rigs can get its hooks caught on the net and I would rather avoid that for now. You can also store the other net you are not using in the included bag.
But I do want to emphasize, while the promotion is for chicken and poultry, it can be used to catch other things as well. For me, my primary focus is using these nets on fish.
Overall, the Net Catcher 3 in 1 Kit, Adjustable from 33″ to 79″ is recommended!
