The One about the NACODEX Wired Gaming Headset (H-10)

Having been impressed with the AJAZZ NACODEX (Epomaker) line of mechanical keyboards, I noticed that NACODEX was releasing a headset.

As I did my research before receiving the headset, the H10 has been sold in Asia as the AJAZZ NACODEX H-10 Gaming Headset which was no surprise as the AJAZZ NACODEX name has usually been seen together when it comes to headsets. But noticed that this headset was not featured on the epomaker website, so this may strictly be an AJAZZ NACODEX release.

But I wondered if they can bring the success they had with their mechanical keyboards to their headsets.

Offered in colorful light blue, light purple, black and yellow, this wired keyboard is USB-based, and can be used for the PC/MAC, PS4 and PS5 (not for XBOX devices).

It has an adjustable stretch head band, 135 degree swingable earcups (which makes it easier to store) and seven color changing LED’s on the sides that light up the logo and a little knob looking section.

The earmuffs are made of breathable memory phone with soft PU leather.

The headset also has a little controller on the cable that has an LED button (off and on), volume up and down and microphone mute key.

In addition, priced at under $59, you get two 50mm neodymium audio drivers and 7.1 surround channel technology.

I did notice the words “First Blood” on the head band on the sides of the ear muffs, so not really sure what that means for the company, unless it is a description of an upcoming gaming line.

The microphone is bendable and if anything, I have used the headset and the audio is quite clear.

If anything, the headset is consistent with other gaming headsets in the $45-$65 range. But while those headsets almost look all the same, NACODEX H-10’s are designed and look differently from any gaming headset that I have reviewed (and I have reviewed many).

I do feel that the headset will attract gamers who have been wanting headsets to be more colorful and not black or white. So, that’s a plus!

The fact that it comes with 50mm drivers is great for those who want a little bass to their sound.

The inclusion of the controller to the cable to change out volume, mic mute and LED on/off is very good to have and I’m quite pleased with the results for gaming and audio.

While there is no mention of noise-canceling, I have done tests and for the most part, the headset does have noise canceling features.

It’s important to note that unlike AJAZZ NACODEX mechanical keyboards, the headset does not feature a nylon-braided cable. But it does use a thicker wire gauge to most gaming headsets which is a major plus!

Now, would there be something I wish this headset had. If I had to be nitpicky, the ability to turn off the 7.1 surround sound. But there really is not much to complain about this headset at all. It’s a solid performer and aesthetically, it’s stylish and colorful and quite pleasing audio and style wise.

It’s also comfortable and had no skin irritation to the PU leather and I was able to game well with it and people who could hear me clearly through the mic.

But I have seen AJAZZ NACODEX really improving in the past few years and each year that passes, I’m more than pleased with their products. They create budget-friendly but also really releasing high quality products to compete against the big brand companies that charge a lot just for the brand alone.

The NACODEX Wired Gaming Headset (H-10) is perfect for those who want solid quality but also a colorful alternative for a gaming headset! Recommended!
