I have utilized many guitar wall mounts and I have to say, I really like the Hidear Guitar Locking Hanger (aka wall mount).
The mount is easily installable and I do like the wood base which was easy to install with the provided long screws and plastic anchors. But what makes this wall mount different to similar mounts, it’s not the type you just turn at a 45 degree angle. The metal portion connected to the wood is already pre-screwed in (it can be removed).
The hanger has a padding on the arms and has auto-locks, so far my guitar is being held just right.
But all you do is screw it in, put the caps in place and then put your guitar and ukulele on and lock the front which can hold your guitar in place, especially in earthquake prone states.
I definitely recommend the Hidear Guitar Locking Hanger.
