How this device works is that you put your line on the thrower rocket fishing feeder, fill it up with bait, cast the thrower rocket and upon impact while hitting the water, the shell opens and releases the bait near the location of where the fishing feeder lands.
Made of durable and impact-resistant ABS construction made and can withstand repeated impacts. There is a secure lock to prevent premature spilling but I must admit that I felt the rocket could be flimsy but the secure lock gets things locked in.
The Garfour ABS Bait Thrower Rocket Fishing Feeder can be used for a variety of bait and while it would work for carp and catfish, I believe it can be used for various fish in freshwater and seawater. But do know that putting bait in a baitfeeder is called “chumming” but if such feeder is compacted and connected to a line with a hook attached that is legal.
But it is important that for inland waters, please note that this fishing feeder may be illegal in your state due to chumming regulations that prevent placing loose or unattached bait/material into the water to attract fish. For example, the state of California, using corn as an example, must be directly on a hook to attract fish. But allows for it in areas in tidewater of tributaries downstream.
