The Qiullen Fly Fishing Chest Pack is a wading vest that allows to large fly boxes that are zippered, while a back panel that has a slot that allows for a fly fishing net. Meanwhile, the first pocket (bottom front) below allows for a fold-down rigging tray.
The fly fishing chest pack features a water-resistant nylon oxford fabric with 230D lining.
Meanwhile, a built-in tippet spool holder is inside the top and comes with two dual fly drying patches (to connect your lures).
For the most part, the fly fishing chest pack fits well, with easy quick release from the sides. You’ll need to adjust the straps for better fit but for the most part, there is a lot of pockets and other potential to keep a variety of things attached, such as a flash light and fishing pliers.
I believe with rod holders (sold separately) attached, it can lead to attachments such as ultra light finesse rods and possibly a wading stick. But I do like the amount of storage and the simplicity of this chest pack. And the fact that it’s waterproof is a major plus.
While this chest pack is designed for fly fishing, I believe that this could be used for other types of fishing as well, due to the amount of storage. And the fact that it costs under $40 is another plus!
But if you are looking for a water-resistant chest pack, definitely give the Qiullen Fly Fishing Chest Pack a try!
