The One about the KZZI K75 PRO RGB 75% Wireless Gasket Mechanical Keyboard

For today’s mechanical keyboard review, I am taking a look at the KZZI K75 PRO RGB 75% Wireless Gasket Mechanical Keyboard.

KZZI is one of the newer companies which I have reviewed mechanical keyboards from. The company was established in 2021 and have sponsored eSport competitions and they have their own R&D dteam, production workshop and switch & SMT factory as well as a molding factory and looking on their website, it’s a big company but with their lineup, they focus on the K68, K75 and Z98 keyboards (lite, regular and pro editions).

With the KZZI K75 PRO RGB 75% Wireless Gasket Mechanical Keyboard, this keyboard is gasket mounted and with the K75 Pro’s, they offer a nostalgic style in various colors. The version I am reviewing is “Rhine” which is derived from the tranquil flow of the Rhine River. The colors are primarily cream, blue and a burn orange/brown colors.

The keyboard is is gasket mounted, which means it helps absorb the sound, and with the plate and base silicon deadener and layers of sound dampening foam, it helps in keeping any loud sounds down. They keyboard comes with extra switches but for these switches, they are 3 pin/5 pin, so you can use most switches and easily swap them.

The keyboard is also tri-mode, which is Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C wired and 2.4 Ghz wireless.

It comes with a rechargeable 3750 mAh battery and can last up to 200 hours and a full charge takes 6-7 hours. In fact, you can see how much of a charge through an LED digital screen next to the kzzi logo.

The keyboard is 82 key aNSI layout and is 75% and features durable double-shot keycaps, there is LED RB lighting and comes with extra USB ports (1 USB and 2 USB-C ports).

The K75 also features a caps lock LED light, so you know if Caps Lock is on.

And through software support, you can easily customized keyboard shortcuts, macros and RGB LED colors. There is a knob on the upper right to switch from wireless, bluetooth or wired (off).

So, my primarily feeling is the switches seem like brown switches. Not too loud when typing (only space bar has that loudest sound, which is normal).

For the most part, this is a solid keyboard but sold at nearly $120, which puts it up there among competitors that are selling gasket mounted tri-mode keyboards. I felt it was a bit high in my opinion and should compete in more of the under $100 category. I felt that the tri-mode switch could be on the top (front side) of the keyboard and a volume knob would be bet on the upper left. But that’s my preference.

I do like the cream colors and for the most part, for this price point, I wish aviator USB-C cables were included, because you are paying for a premium.

But overall, I felt the KZZI K75 PRO RGB 75% Wireless Gasket Mechanical Keyboard is a solid performing tri-mode mechanical keyboard, but with that, I will also say, I’m not a big fan at its current pricepoint, because then it starts to compete with big brand, big name companies, when it should be competing with other third party companies at the under $100 pricepoint.

But overall, a solid performing mechanical keyboard.
