The One about the MAGIC-REFINER AK873 75% Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

For today’s review, I am reviewing the MAGIC-REFINER AK873 75% Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. But once you receive it, you realize it’s a collaboration keyboard with AJAZZ and NACODEX (which I have reviewed in the past).

So, first let me discuss AJAZZ, AJAZZ is a Chinese company that makes the best affordable low-budget keyboards. If you are looking to spend under $50, or under $40, just know that with AJAZZ keyboards, you are getting your money’s worth. The same can be said with NACODEX.

With that explanation, with the brand “MAGIC-REFINER”, it’s my first time reviewing a keyboard with that name.

So, this will confuse people and wonder if they got the correct keyboard, it is an AJAZZ X NACODEX collaboration keyboard but sold under “MAGIC-REFINER” on Amazon.

So, what do we have with the AK873. So, first of all, do know that this is a beginning entry keyboard. It has the LED colors, it has a switch and keycap puller and while the presentation is all white and frosty blue keycaps, you also get 8 colored PBT keycaps.

So, for the most part, this is a entry keyboard for beginners who want to customize a little and changing the keycaps and switches themselves. But there is one other thing that this collaboration keyboard has, that you won’t find in other low-budget mechanical keyboards and that it comes with an aviator cable.

This is actually very awesome as many gamers like to change keyboards and it helps to have one Aviator cable plugged in and you don’t have to keep unplugging from the mechanical keyboard once you go aviator. Trust me, it’s worth it!

But as a mechanical keyboard itself, it’s a blue switch mechanical keyboard which makes a lot of noise (which some gamers prefer). It has the RGB lighting, clear tactile feedback and anti-ghosting.

With the RGB LED lighting, you get five light speeds and 22 light effects that can be changed with the function button and other buttons (usually function + the buttons on the side like ins, del, home, end, pgup and pgdown).

It’s a 75% compact keyboard (no numeric keys on the side) and it does have a caps lock LED indicator and arrow keys.

But if anything, this is a good beginner keyboard that can get someone interested into collecting and using mechanical keyboards for gaming or office use. The MAGIC-REFINER AK873 75% Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is recommended for those not wanting to spend much but get a good quality keyboard with a few perks!
