NOTE: I found out that for each person, I have to redo the “Destiny” portion of Li Yunsi which leads to 100% for the endings section. BUT while I was able to activate it for four, I am unable to activate it on Zhong Zhen for some reason.
What is “Love is All Around”?
The player becomes Gu Yi, uses the first-person perspective to immerse himself in meeting six beauties, and embarks on a joyful and sweet love journey with them. Six girls that are charming, innocent, intelligent, wild, sexy, glamorous, who will go to the end with you is up to you to decide.

Now my thoughts of the game:
The original “Love is All Around”. The iconic Asian FMV game that set the bar at its highest and has since inspired many companies try and reap the success of FMV games in Asia.
“Love is All Around” and its DLC and related titles are top tier FMV games. Hours of video, numerous branching storylines and just when you think it’s easy enough, nope…you’re going to have to backtrack if you want to get that 100%.
But I absolutely love this game and just when you think you find one route that is awesome, you discover other routes to other women that you just absolutely love their storyline.
The story revolves around painter Gu Yi and it’s a first-person perspective FMV game in which you meet six women.
Who do you prefer?
The wealthy blondish Zheng Ziyan (the entrepreneur and loves to drink a lot and party a lot) / portrayed by Zhong Chenyao
Zheng Ziyan’s art museum curator sister Li Yunsi / portrayed by Wang Ziyun
The sweet and innocent college graduate Xiao Lu / portrayed by Jiajiajia_zZ
The sexy but proper single mom Lin Yuequin / portrayed by Wang Xingchen
The stern corporate executive Zhong Zhen / portrayed by Kiki Dong
Or the rich girl you promised to marry when you were a child, Shen Huixin
Or wold you rather just hang out with your guy friend Liu (portrayed by Zheng Xudong)
Aside from hanging out with your guy frined Liu, I found myself drawn to all the storylines of each women. For example, I was pretty much focused on Zheng Ziyan but next thing you know, I started getting into all the storylines as each chapter really had cool storylines.
Needless to say, this is a fantastic game and here we are in 2025 and numerous “Love is All Around” games have been released (including part 2 which features a few of the actresses from previous games.
This game has set the bar for Asian FMV games and you’ll find yourself comparing or finding out if certain aspects of LiAA is featured on other games and disappointed when you see that not many games come even close. But that goes to show how awesome this game is.
“Love is All Around” and all the games that came after it are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Top tier among the Asian FMV games on STEAM.
