For many anime fans, Japanese artist and designer Renji (Range) Murata is best known for his work on “Last Exile”, the sequel “Last Exile – Fam, The Silver Wing-”, Blue Submarine No. 6” and “Shan- gri-La”.
He has published more than a dozen books such as “robot”, “rule”, “futurhythm” and was voted “Best Artist of the Year” for the Seiun Award back in 2006.
He also is involved in releasing figures and sculptures based on his art as well.
Range Murata recently took part in a press conference held at Sakura-Con.
