I have been wanting to get a car trash can and I wanted to try the Ginsco Mini Car Trash Can with Lid.
I like the shape and I like the fact that it can be kept in your side door section (driver or passenger) or a cup holder and they provide a generous amount of trashbags. Also, two hooks are provided to be used as a behind the seat hanger. All this for under $8.
It should be easy, lift up the lid to set the trash bag, close the lid and you can push the top to put your trash inside.
For the most part, it should be simple and easy but while it does the job, there is something that I had a problem with and that is the cap. Many times, I have experienced the cap coming off. Not sure when it happens when the door is closed or what but the cap comes flying off.
I may need to add something to keep the cap a bit more stuck on that it does right now.
There are various colors offered for this mini-car trash can, although I wish there were blue, as my car is primarily blue and darker gray. But that’s why I went for all black.
But overall, it works as intended. The extra trash bags are a plus. But I wish the cap didn’t fly out as easily when I close the door. Granted, I could keep it in my drink holder, but I rather not do that.
But I do recommend it, but depending where you place it, it may be a bit of a hassle to a few.
