I have been wanting to add cherry blossoms to my diorama, but one of the difficulties is reading a wide range of reviews of good and bad.
But I do know this, I want it for my N Gauge Diorama and if there is a company that has built for model railroading and dioramas, KATO is a company that is well-known.
First, I want to say that riding the train and seeing cherry blossom trees in March/April is something that I am used to seeing. I have traveled throughout Japan to visit locations with cherry blossom trees.
I had the opportunity to do my research to stand by various trees up and down Japan, but also to compare the size of people to the trees. So, I knew the trees would have to be 2-3 inches in height. Just in case I was going to put mini people nearby.
But I also wanted to have cherry blossom trees to add color to my diorama, as I have a lot of greenery, but wanted to have that pink/white added for color.
The price of these three tree sets are Y1064 (about $8 US) are adequately priced. While you may get a few petals, not too much, so you don’t lose too much. In fact, I sprinkled some of those residual petals on my shrine area.
But for the most part, I’m quite happy with the cherry blossom trees. It was the right size and what I have been looking for.
