The One about the Master Grade 3.0 RX-78-2 Gundam – E.F.S.F. Prototype Close-Combat Mobile Suit Gunpla Part 1

When it comes to Gunpla, I have picked up so many over the years that I have a backlog.

I have had this “Master Grade 3.0 RX-78-2 Gundam – E.F.S.F. Prototype Close-Combat Mobile Suit Gunpla” probably seven year and I had been wanting to get into it but I usually get into creative spurts when I feel like working on gunpla and when I don’t.

And with the atmospheric weather keeping me grounded, I decided to want to build this Master Grade.

I have built different RX-78-2’s, HG, RG but this is my first MG for it.

For this first post, I will say that I admire the engineering and thought that went into the parts. I’m still early in building it and while I was building the torso, my Type-A personality tends to make me want to complete things as quickly as possible.

But I learned my lesson that Master Grade’s, best to be patient and do it day-by-day and don’t overdo it.

Usually with HG gunpla, I want to finish it within a few hours, but I had to really condition my mind to do a part at a time and figured it may take several days, maybe weeks. So, had to get in that mindset.

If I wanted to complete something quickly, that’s why I did the shield and weapons immediately.

But I’ll post my progression and continue in part 2.
