The One about the Vrbort Mini Turbo Cooling Fan for Oculus Quest 2

If there is one thing to know about this product, the Vrbort Mini Turbo Cooling Fan for Oculus Quest 2 may seem like it’s a fan to make you cooler but it’s important to read the notes that what it does is prevent lens fogging.

I noticed people who review products like this and hope it’s their fix for sweating in VR when doing games that require a lot of activity. But sweating will become natural and you’re not going to find powerful enough fans that can circulate and keep your head cool. If you want that, turn the A/C on or have a fan nearby.

But what this product is about is minimizing or preventing lens fog.

The fan provides two wind speeds, one is normal, one is more powerful and it runs via a 600mA lithium polymer battery and can last 8-10 hours.

The fan is definitely not loud and the cushion is good.

But it’s important to note that if you utilize a specialized spacer (if you wear glasses), you’ll need to remove it in order for the cushion to be attached.

If you are using VR Covers (ie. Facial Interface and Foam Set) or eye glass spacer, you will need to remove it in order to utilize Vrbort’s fan as it has its own facial interface, cushion and the fan attaches right to the top of the facial interface.

Does it do what it needs to do and that is prevent lens fog? Yes.

But will it cool your head during a long workout and prevent sweat? No.

You will sweat regardless. But what it does do well is prevent lens fog. But do note that you can decide if you want to use dry/wet lens wipes (for fogging) or use this cooling fan.

But if you tend to suffer from lens fog, then you may want to consider the Vrbort Mini Turbo Cooling Fan for Oculus Quest 2.
