The One about the SOULWIT Golf Club Adapter

As a guy who enjoys golf, it’s been a pleasure to get into VR golf.

Having played many golf video games, I just love how technology has changed to the point that you can now adapt your swing and make the important decisions on virtual golf courses is pretty awesome.

Sure, VR golf doesn’t beat the real thing of being at the golf course… but, it offers a lot to those who want to practice or simply love golf but are unable to partake in it as much as they want, may it be due to financial or physical reasons.

When I started discovering how other golfers were utilizing golf club adapters/accessories to improve their swing and playing VR golf with it, I had to give it a try!

And the first adapter I will be utilizing is the SOULWIT Golf Club Adapter.

One of the cheaper golf club adapters you will find on Amazon, this adapter is easy to set up but is designed for those who are right handed.

It comes with three latches in one which will be used to hold the main base (where you put your Oculus controller inside) in place and it connects to the rear ring area (snaps right into place), to prevent your controller from flying out.

If you have the holder string for you touch, it will actually go inside the grip which screws into a metal section between the base and the grip, so it’s very easy to use.

It comes with also two rubber bands that can keep your Oculus controller button pressed down (I have no need for it, as I don’t need to keep the button pressed down).

I will tell you right now, I have used this adapter with various types of swings and the latch has held on. I have had no worries of the Touch controller flying out. It is firmly in place.

Now using “Golf+” as my main game to test the controller, I notice that with Top Golf or regular driving, using it really does mess with your head because it makes you think you are actually holding a golf club and you think you are going to hit your surroundings in your room, when in truth, the adapter is a little over a foot long.

But it’s very interesting to see how it mimics your actual drive form and I can see why people who are hardcore about their swing invest in these golf club adapters.

I have been able to use it in various courses and I really do like it. Granted, it did take a while to get used to at first, especially for positioning hits as sometimes I missed the ball for several minutes. But I started to get things down and realize you’ll need to position yourself quite a bit.

Especially for putting, because now things are extended, but I eventually got it down.

I imagine using it for “Golf 5 eClub” would be a challenge, but I think some people will probably enjoy the challenge (for me it’s a bit frustrating, but that’s even without the adapter…ie. their latest course).

But overall, I am quite pleased with the SOULWIT Golf Club Adapter. It’s a challenge using it at first, as it gets to your head and also certain moments of where you feel your missing the ball, but it just requires repositioning. But for those who really want to work on their golf game via VR, definitely give this game a chance.  It’s also one of the more cheaper golf club adapters on Amazon under $70, so definitely check it out!
