The One about how Golf+ became my favorite golf game for VR

When I first did my YouTube review on this game (which was originally “Top Golf” and now “Golf+”) in mid-2021, it was pretty much Top Golf and pretty much the only true Golf game was “Golf 5 eClub”. Still, I came to this game because it had the driving range ala Top Golf and the Pro Putt (and the social aspect).

But then I started to notice a course was added and a little over a year later, here we are with “Golf+” which has evolved considerably.  Now with multiple courses and a true full golf game (from what it originally was) and it literally has surpassed Golf 5 eClub in what it has to offer for gameplay.

I checked back and there are even more islands and an incentive to get Kiawah Island for free (how awesome is that!?).

Not only that, they have a solid community on Discord, active on social media and really listen to the VR golfing enthusiasts. It really is impressive what Golfscope Inc. has done because when I got this game, it was promoted more of a fun, social community for Top Golf but it has since evolved as a true VR golf contender and has become the #1 VR golf game!

It has more than surpassed my expectations (I was not expecting true golf and multiple courses, challenges, especially with the amount of awesome content in since March 2021).

If anything, there are people who go all out for the full experience by investing in a VR Golf Club Controller Holder (which you can find on Amazon, eBay or Etsy) which would definitely work much better for many people to practice their form.

While I do notice that “Golf 5 eClub” mimic’s my hooks more during my drives and does look a bit better graphically, it all comes down to gameplay and how often the developers contribute towards the game.  And for “Golf+”, its continually updated whichi is a major plus.  And they keep in touch with their community which is another plus.

“Golf+” has won me over more for its gameplay and enjoyment.  Don’t get me wrong, both games are very good and those who enjoy golf in VR will want to own both.  But because of the improvements, I enjoy “Golf+” even more in 2022.

And if anything, I feel it’s good to have competition between both because they can push and strive to make their games better.  And Golfscope Inc., has done just that.  Took what was just a driving/putting social golf game and made it way better.

So, congrats to the development team and I look forward to seeing what you have planned in the near future! “Golf+” is RECOMMENDED!
