I love to read, and as a reader of many books, I need good lighting.
And as I get older, my eye sight needs that lighting and so I had to find a new floor lamp. And I came upon the BoostArea LED Floor Lamps.
The feature that attracted me is that you have the main lamp, but then you have a mini gooseneck reading lamp with a bendable arm that you can aim towards you easily.
Also, I like how it doesn’t utilize the rotary switch on the lamp, it’s merely a flick on and flick off type of lamp. Of course, with each flick, you also adjust the brightness levels from 100% to 70% to 30%, depending on your needs.
Now is it easy to put together?
Yes, it is. But there are a few things that I do need to comment on and that is that when you first start off, you must pull the bottom cable out until you can’t do anymore.
The reason is that as you connect the lamps which is broken down to sections that need to be screwed on, you can’t just push in the cable through the piping, as the piping is slim. You need to pull the cable through the bottom first, not after. Once you do that and you attach it to the base, that part is done.
Then you add the linen lampshades to a ring via clips which is not difficult to figure out or put together and then add the 4W LED and the 15W LED bulbs.
And it’s ready to go!
I’m quite pleased with this floor lamp. While it is concerning that the stand is thinner than other lamps that I own, fortunately the bass is heavy and holds it perfectly. Also, I don’t have young children in my home that makes me scared of it being accidentally knocked over.
Overall, I give the BoostArea LED Floor Lamps five stars!
