The One about the SUNGIVEN Black Truffle Sauce, Made In Italy

When it comes to Truffle, may it be Truffle Oil or Black Truffle Sauce, I need to get it from Italy (and France). Sure, they can be found all over the world, black truffle from Langhe and Montferrat or white truffles near Tuscany, truffle oil and truffle sauce are something I often purchase.

While the definition of a truffle does not make it sound appealing, truffles are no doubt wonderful in adding that bit of umami to your pasta, eggs, potato dishes and many more.

But black truffles and even white truffles are not going to come cheap, and when you purchase a sauce, it’s often a mixture. And today, I’m trying the SUNGIVEN Black Truffle Sauce, made In Italy. This is a paste that includes black truffle but is primarily Champignon Mushrooms and 56% extra virgin olive oil, black olives.

I do taste the black truffle, but this sauce is primarily Champignon Mushrooms and Olives.

It works great when adding it to pasta dishes and while not for everyone, I do like it.

You’re not doing to get 100% pure truffle, but you do have a mix that does add to the flavor of your dishes. It’s worth giving a try!
