As a person who has experimented with a huge variety of fish food, the Ultra Fresh – Vegetables Shrimp Pie fish food has been quite positive so far with my plecos and cory’s.
I have reviewed the Ultra Fresh fish food for tropical fish and guppies and wrote about how it’s a great deal and my fish love it.
The fish food features 30% natural spirulina and seaweeds, 11% sweet potato leaves and mulberry leaves, sword prawns and specifically made for herbivorous plecos and herbivorous tropical fish. It provides them with Vitamins A, C, D3, E, B1, B2, B6 and B12.
If anything, my pleco loves these. These are the sinking type and for the most part, at under $13 it is one of Ultra Fresh’s most expensive fish food. But its specially formulated and not just your regular algae fish food.
I have tested this fish food also with my African cichlids and they also seem to like it as well and you do get a larger bottle, which is a plus.
For the most part, Ultra Fresh has released another quality fish food. Not too expensive, but it is one of the more pricier fish food from the company, who I have praised for being cheaper than their competition.
But overall, I do give the Ultra Fresh – Vegetables Shrimp Pie fish food for herbivorous plecos and herbivorous tropical fish a thumbs up!
