I am always wanting to try the latest technology in multimeters and today I am taking a look at the BTMETER BT-770S Multimeter.
The main key features for this device are:
– Has a rubber sleeve
– Comes with a battery (Note: You must unscrew the back panel to install the battery)
– Has a kickstand that can rotate 180 degrees
– Does Diode and has an audible continuity test (Test conditions for forward DC current, approx. 1.5 ma and Reversed DC Voltage approx 4V, as well as Open Circuit Voltage approx. 2V).
– Comes with a case, device, cable testers (including alligator clip), temperature probe, etc.
– The other key functions include red light indication, CDS sensor, green light indication, auto-back light screen, transistor hFE test, auto-power off, dial indicator lamp, 20A, 600uA 600 ma T+ and COM T.
But let’s go ahead and check to see how things are with the BTMETER BT-770S Multimeter. The price is at under $27 and is great hobbyists and for home use.
The device takes 20A fuses.
For the most part, the BTMETER BT-770S Multimeter is great for the most basic of functions, while versatile, I wish it did show the maximum range, which is concerning for safety purposes, so I would only use this for basic testing.
But with that being said, for what this offers for under $27, you get your money’s worth. Again, great for basic usage not for industrial. Readings are precise and for the most part, the BTMETER BT-770S Multimeter is a solid multimeter.
