When it comes to third-party controllers for the Nintendo Switch, momen sells their controllers around $40 and for the most part work very well.
I personally use this controller because I’m tired of getting Joy-Con drift and I needed a controller that would be utilized for fighting games such as “Super Smash Bros.”, “Overwatch” to non-fighting games, “Splatoon 2”, “Fortnite” to games such as “Animal Crossing: New Horizons”.
I attached the Switch Controllers to my Switch, your Switch will automatically discover it.
I like the colors as it has an “Animal Crossing” type of pastel like color. The Switch controllers supports the 6-axis gyro, has dual motor vibration and turbo boost function.
You can change the glowing LED colors to a solid color around the joysticks by pressing and holding the T button and joystick for color mode. If you want a rainbow breath mode, hold the T button and then press the joystick twice to cycle through the rainbow colors.
The controller has 400mAh rechargeable batteries and has a single charging time of 2-3 hours and can support 8-10 hours of continuous use and standby up to 25 days.
So far, these third party switch controllers are working great! But I have used third party switch controllers that have gone bad on me months later.
If this controller does go bad, I will definitely update my review.
The momen Wireless Switch Controller for the Nintendo Switch gets 4.5 stars and will update my review if it holds up/doesn’t hold up months down the line.
