JAL has teamed up with Allianz Travel to provide complimentary cover for medical, testing and quarantine isolation costs in
the event that our customers test positive for COVID-19 during their travel, as well as a 24-hour support line that customers can contact from anywhere in the world.
According to JAL:
To provide you with greater peace of mind for your essential travel needs, we have decided to extend the period and expand the coverage of isolation costs as follows.

1. Coverage Period
For JAL international flights between December 23, 2020 – September 30, 2021.
2. Expanded Coverage for Isolation Costs
For customers whose first JAL international flight departs on/after July 1, 2021,
isolation costs for the following case will also be covered in addition to those who
have tested positive:
– For customers who are suspected to have COVID-19 and have been requested to
quarantine in an approved facility.
Isolation costs related to mandatory quarantine requirements by each country upon arrival will not be covered. Please visit the JAL website for terms and conditions and FAQ.
