I have been updating my cloth masks (which allow for inserts) but when you want to look for inexpensive inserts, definitely give the Sanfiland New 3D Cutting PM 2.5 Activated Carbon Filter Inserts a try.
These masks feature five layers of filtration. The first two layers features non-woven fabric, the two layers feature meltblow cloth and the last layer is activated carbon cloth.
There is a bit of a chemical smell from these carbon filters, but then again, they have a layer of activated carbon. So, for those sensitive to smells, may have an issue with them. [It’s important to note that I have another carbon filter mask and it also has the smell of activated carbon]
They aren’t so expensive at $18.99 for 36.
