The One about Freshland Felca Grocery Store in Ikebukuro

Not far from where I stay in Ikebukuro is a green grocery store known as Freshland Felca.  I have no idea what Felca is, as I have googled it and I read Felca is like Peter Pan’s hat.  But I don’t know if that is the case with this grocery store, as the logo looks like a tomato with a happy face.

Needless to say, if you are a vegan, love fruit and vegetables, Freshland Felca is a green grocer that offers produce for an awesome price.

Granted, the outside produce are produce they sell cheap, the much more fresher products are inside.

But if you look at the quality of the vegetables and fruits that are put outside, they are in good shape (on the day I checked it out), I can’t say about everyday.

Japanese carrots tend to be huge and one for Y98, a head of broccoli for Y158, a huge package of tomatoes for Y198-Y298, Eggs for Y118, that’s awesome!

And the strawberries aren’t too expensive as well.

But overall, if you are looking for fruits and vegetables and are visiting Japan, check on google of local grocery stores nearby.  While Japan may be expensive, fruits and vegetables can be found for a great price!
