Brewbike began in 2015 when a group of Northwestern freshmen felt it was hard to get great coffee on campus and so they started Northwestern’s first fully student-run coffee.
First via mobile coffee bike and then later as a coffee kiosk in Annenberg Hall with a team of student baristas, operation team members and brewers and from there have moved on to multiple campuses in three states and serving retail locations and thousands of online customers.
The company serves their original blend of cold brew, cinnamon brown sugar, chocolate and for the most part, I have been using BrewBike’s Cold Brew Coarse Ground Coffee (Original Blend Dark Roast) for the past week, and actually have been drinking it both cold and had to try it hot.
Just pour what I usually do with my ground coffee into my French Press, the amount of water and that’s it. EZ PZ.
It’s very good, quite delicious and all I can say is that I’m proud of these students for creating the company and seeing it blossom to what is today!
