As a person who casually paints for art or hobbyist (ie. plastic models specifically “Gunpla”) work, I tend to use acrylic paints when I needed a matte finish.
What I like about Arteza’s Craft Acrylic Paint set is that it’s a premium set which contains 20 vivid, matte finish, water-based paints.
Personally, I found the colors included in this set to be my preference of paints, which is to utilize a lot of darker colors, from black, grays to blues.
I wish they put a more colorful red (brighter) than the ruby red included vs. the fluorescent orange.
I currently have used this paint on a model and used a spray acrylic finish. But the main caveat is that you may need extra coats, if you are using it for modeling.
In addition, while I love the tamper-proof sealing, it’s a bit too difficult to remove.
But overall, for the paint itself, I do like it! The paint dries quickly and for the most part, with the variety of colors included in the set. Again, I pretty much used this as an experiment on painting on a gunpla model and not actual painting on canvas. So, my experience is more on the craft side of things with this acrylic paint and also see how much it differs from a paint that I have typically used before.
But overall, I do recommend the ARTEZA Craft Acrylic Paint Set!
