When it comes to third-party controllers for the Nintendo Switch, YCCTEAM sells their controllers around $32 or less and for the most part work very well.
I personally use this controller because I’m tired of getting Joy-Con drift and I needed a controller that would be utilized for fighting games such as “Super Smash Bros.”, “Overwatch” to non-fighting games, “Splatoon 2”, “Fortnite” to games such as “Animal Crossing: New Horizons”.
The first thing I do recommend is charging the controller first (takes only 2.5 hours) and then after that, begin pairing.
Pairing can be somewhat of a hassle, but I was able to get this controller discovered. You can also use the 40-inch USB Type-C cable that it comes with and plug it to your dock.
The controller comes with a 1200 mAh rechargeable lithium battery for up to 10 hours of playtime.
For the most part, I have been using this controller with great success (anything but “Taiko no Tatsujin” which is easier on a Joy-Con). But I like the price at under $32 and the design. Also, the dual motors is pretty cool. Although, like most third party pro-controllers I have used, not useful for catching fish on “Animal Crossing” due to the different feedback.
But for the most part, this controller works great for Nintendo Switch games and I recommend the YCCTEAM Wireless Switch Pro Controller for the Nintendo Switch/Switch Lite as an alternative to the more expensive Switch Pro Controller.
