The One about the Forge Quality TSA Approved Luggage locks

I’m often asked if I use luggage locks and the answer is yes.  I use TSA approved luggage locks and I have two per luggage, each carryon and it’s not just to protect my belongings when traveling overseas, but there are times where your hotel is not ready and you have to leave your luggage in a luggage area.

Or when you have a 12:00 p.m. checkout and you don’t depart until the afternoon, and you have hours, once again, leaving luggage in a public luggage area, you want your belongings to be protected.

And more than likely, you purchased souvenirs or traveled with electronics (ie. laptop or cameras) and you want those to be secure and protected.  That’s totally understandable.

So, that’s where I recommend Forge Quality TSA approved luggage locks.

They have a lock for TSA to open easily (so they don’t have to cut the lock), the number you want to keep things locked are easy to set but most importantly you have two things that work in your favor:

a)  The lock is alloy, tightly braided and sheathed steel cables.

b)  The locks should go through small zipper handle holes, as some backpacks have double zippers, you can run these through.  As with luggage zippers, these can go through the zipper handle hole.  If anything, more protection!

c)  No worrying about keys.  I used to keep small luggage lock with keys, but it’s always scary because you need to keep track of all those keys.  In this case, no keys are necessary.  It’s a three number system.  Which is easy to setup.

d) If the TSA uses their key, they do not need to be relocked.  But for this key, once the cable is locked in place, then they can remove their key.

Overall, the Forge Quality TSA Approved Luggage Locks are the best luggage locks that I have come across in the market.  Not too expensive as you get two for under $12.

These are definitely worth it!
