The One about the Izzo Tru Vu Trainer Hitting Net

The Izzo Tru Vu Trainer Hitting Net is possibly one of the coolest golf nets that I have tested.

For one, a lot of nets that are available, they can’t take a beating.  Hit the golf ball hard and the protective net is just not strong enough.

The Izzo Tru Vu Trainer Hitting Net is probably one of the strongest trainer hitting net that I’ve used, granted it’s also not like other golf nets I’ve used.

First, let’s talk about the net itself.

The net comes in a nylon carrying bag, with three small width connection poles for left and right (so a total of six pieces), you then have thick connecting steel pipes in the bottom (a total of three pieces) and the two primary legs that connect on the left and right (so total of four pieces).  Then you get four metal U spikes to hold the legs down.

Setup is quite easy, but there is something I do recommend first and that is that once you connect the three steel pipes in the bottom, run that through the bottom net prior to connecting the legs.

Otherwise, everything else is easy, the three small width connection poles for both left and right side are easy to put on and easy to remove.

Go ahead and start driving or hitting the golf balls.  Just one word of advice, stay closer to the net, if you tend to hook or slice. I was being a bit cocky with one hit, staying several feet back and shanked it.  Glad I wasn’t going full swing or otherwise that would have been a disaster.  But stay about 2-3 feet away from the net, don’t go too far back.

But I gave this strong net all I had and tried to see if a ball would go through, but the quality of the net is very strong.  It’s not webby, net material either.  It’s seems like it’s a thick nylon tarp (not sure what exactly the material is but it’s strong) and there are no openings in the net area.

But I really do like this trainer hitting net.  It’s easy to put up, take down and most of all, it’s strong and can really take a beating no matter how strong your swing is and how hard the ball hits it.

And last, especially having to stay home and golf courses are closed for the time being, it helps to have this net in the back yard to practice.

Overall, I recommend it!
