The One about Jorenji Temple in Itabashi, Tokyo – Part 2

I’ve written about the beauty of Jorenji Temple in Itabashi and the history in my last post.

But now let’s take a look at what else is around Jorenji Temple.

I went during the cherry blossom season and the cherry blossoms were out in full force and the place was lush with greenery all around.

Also, unlike the other two locations with a large Buddha, Jorenji is hardly crowded.

There are also many other statues and burial tombs such as Uemura’s tomb and more.

Overall, I think that Jorenji is a wonderful temple to visit. It’s peaceful, tranquil and not crowded. Unfortunately, for some, the 19 minute walk may be too much for some people but I do recommend visiting the location and the surrounding area.
