The One about the Wockoder Record Player with Speaker Turntable

I grew up with albums and currently have my father’s albums. Unfortunately, I never thought I would be listening to vinyl ever again, so it was kept in my storage unit, collecting dust and probably suffered from California summer heat.

But with vinyl becoming popular again, and no longer having my expensive Technics which I DJ’d with back in the ’80s and early ’90s, I am now having to find cheaper options for playing vinyl, granted, I don’t need anything like I did when I was younger as I’m not going to be scratching or utilizing the old mixer/fader.

The WOCKODER Record Player was one that I wanted to try and for the most part, I was able to play the music. Not sure if its the albums but as others have mentioned in their reviewing opening songs didn’t work as well. But I didn’t want to blame that on the player, as the albums have been played zillions of times and no matter how much I cleaned them, I had dejavu that scratches happen.

But I was able to play a few albums opening tracks, such as Simon & Garfunkel, Eagles, Boston, Steve Miller Band, etc. I had no problems with the larger vinyl.

I did notice certain albums sounded good, others sounded bad through the speaker. But for what its worth, this was more on a road trip to nostalgia more than anything.

It plays 33-1/3, 45 and 78 RPM, so one’s all set in playing albums.

No, I’m not going to give up my digital music or CD’s just yet, but I like it and at under $59, can’t complain.
