I discovered sea buckthorn berries several years ago while traveling overseas and at the airport, went to a juice shop which sold sea buckthorn juice.
The berry is grown in China, Mongolia, Russia, northern Europe and Canada and are edible, nutritious and sour. So, when frosted and mixed with sweeter juices, it becomes a tastier berry juice.
In other countries, sea buckthorn is used for health related reasons, great for the skin and studies are being done if it reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
But anyway, I have been drinking Miracle’s Blue Perform (a healthy drink made in Italy) which comes with 70g of Sea Buckthorn, 0g of added sugar. Also included is tomato, spirulina, carrot, pomegranate and apple.
It’s Gluten Free, Non GMO, no added sugar and one Sea Buckthorn berry equals the power of 10 oranges.
Miracle is a company from a former boxer named Francesco, who designed Miracle SBT for training and recovery and wanted to make a drink featuring the miracle berry which was created after the birth of his daughter.
Miracle SBT (sea buckthorn) is grown organically on the hills of Tsucany, mixed with pure water from Italian alps and sold on Amazon.
The drink features B9 for recovery, Potassium, Vitame E and A and calories are 60 per serving (one container).
It may seem a little pricey for 6 bottles for $20 but considering how much I paid for a drink with sea buckthorn which is around $5 at a juice shop, it’s really not that expensive.
But definitely worth it if you are into or believe in the healthy benefits of sea buckthorn!
