Back in 1999, Beard Papa, a cream puff store started by Hirota Yuji in Osaka, Japan.
Since then, the store has expanded to over 250 stores in Japan and over 400 stores worldwide (including the US, UK, Canada, Australia and throughout Asia).
While Beard Papa’s cream puffs are known worldwide, may it e their original vanilla, cookies and cream or chocolate fondant, I had to visit Beard Papa who was celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2019.
In Japan, Beard Papa celebrated their 20th anniversary with a Langue de Chat cream puff.
The company also released a premium cream puff which features vanilla cream from Hokkaido, a Mont Blanc cream puff featuring Shibukawa chestnut and Melon Pan cream puff.
There is always something new that the company sells each month, so if you are a cream puff fan, you’ll definitely want to give Beard Papa in Japan a chance!
