The One about the Kaito KA110 Compact Digital AM/FM NOAA Weather Radio and MP3 Player with Micro-SD Card Reader

The Kaito KA110 Compact Digital AM/FM NOAA Weather Radio is great for those who want a radio to keep in their home for emergencies or if you want to have radio in your home (or work if allowed).

I have not had a radio in my home that I can listen to, possibly since the early 2000’s, back when walkman’s came with radio. If anything, the majority of the radio I have listened to since then was in my car.

But thinking back, I think the last time I had a portable radio in my home, was when I had a boom box (not including the satellite radio that comes with satellite TV channel service or online radio). This radio required a charge (via a micro-USB cable) and I left it charging for about an hour and a half and it gave me a 75% charge (Note: One single BL-5C 850 mAh li-ion rechargeable battery is included). Which is not bad.

The radio is also small, 4 1/2 inches wide, 2 3/4 in height and one inch in diameter.

But due to weather emergencies, the Kaito KA110 Compact Digital AM/FM NOAA Weather Radio device is worth owning.

For one, it has AM/FM radio and a long antenna which can extend. The NOAA Weather Radio worked perfectly in giving weather reports for my area. The channels are pre-programmed, so that’s awesome.

Primarily, I see people wanting this device for the NOAA weather reports especially during time of weather related pending disasters.

With that being said, one can listen to the radio and have your headphones plugged in via the 3.5 mm audio input or through its speaker. The display is back-lit and was easy to read.

And you can save your MP3’s on a Micro-SD card (put the card in its port) and listening to your favorite songs via it’s audio MP3 player.

So, you get your money’s worth with this small radio which offers so much for under $25.
