There are many electric/sonic toothbrushes I have used but nothing comes close to Oral-b’s quality. From power, presentation and all that comes with the product, once you tried an Oral-b electric toothbrush, you won’t want to try any other.
And that goes for the Oral-B Genius X Luxe Electric Toothbrush. If anything, you will hope that this product lasts forever because it works so well.
The Oral-B Genius X Luxe Electric Toothbrush has built in AI, so it recognizes your brushing style.
The toothbrush has Bluetooth technology to connect to your smart phone, it gives you daily personal coaching and this is literally a smart electric toothbrush.
You also get a power plug and a case that recharges your tooth brush (and your smart phone) and can hold up to two brush heads (great for travel) or you can use the included stand.
It also comes with seven brush heads (note: All are circular not long and horizontal).
While you want to charge it before using it (comes with a Li-ION battery that will last more than two weeks with a full charge), even the single bar charge that mine had was still able to generate a lot of power.
Needless to say, I had to try out the six different modes: Daily Clean, Pro Clean, Sensitive, Whitening, Gum Massage and Tongue Cleaner.
The Oral-b Genius X Luxe Electric Toothbrush has pressure control that ensures that you don’t press hard on your gums.
But what I love about this toothbrush is its smart capabilities. For one, download the Oral-b app and once you turn on your toothbrush, it detects it via Bluetooth and you can select the color of the above ring.
Then you start brushing and after you’re done, it will tell you (brush longer, don’t press to hard in this area, etc. It actually tracks your movements while you brush. Now granted, this is not for everyone who is rushing to work, but for those who really care about their teeth, willing to spend sometime getting AI coaching, you do learn a lot through the Smart Coaching.
Overall, this is the best electric toothbrush on the market. The new AI technology is something I never saw coming. But if you have weight scales that now connect via wireless, why not a toothbrush that can give information on what you need to do better or work on.
I dig that a lot!
Overall, a five star release from Oral-B. Sure it’s a bit expensive but with the AI technology, seven heads, the power and numerous modes plus Oral-B quality, the Oral-b Genius X Luxe Electric Toothbrush is highly recommended!
