I’ve been asked by friends of what kind of extra large gaming mouse pad that I use.
I know there are people who are hardcore of getting the same brand of PC/laptop, mousepad, keyboard, mouse, etc. but I’m not that hardcore.
For my extra large mousepad, I use the Cooler Master MP510 Extra Large Gaming Mouse Pad.
The size is 35.43 x 15.74 x 0.11 inch and features a corduroy anti-fray fabric surface. It’s also waterproof, which is a big plus. And included in the upper right corner is Cooler Master’s logo (which glows in the dark).
So, why an extra large gaming mouse pad?
The freedom of movement. I suppose one can get the large which is 17 inches in width but I like the fact that it keeps most of my surface on my desk black, my keyboard does slide, but my mouse has great movement on the surface.
With that being said, for those who want better glide, may look into the Mad Catz The Authentic G.L.I.D.E. 38 Gaming Surface.
For those who want more cloth than cordura, definitely check out the ZOWIE G-SR.
And for those who don’t want something too big but just enough for gaming and is used by a lot of professionals, it’s the Logitech G640 cloth gaming mousepad.
It’s mainly preference.
