A lot of people are writing about their flights being canceled due to Typhoon Hagibis, some who are stranded in the airport and some who were to flyout, missing their flight to Japan.
Please know that at this time, there is record downpour in various regions, various flooding and unfortunately, a few deaths.
In addition, Eastern Japan also had an earthquake and a tornado as well. Along with the reported purple/pink sky. But because of the severity of this typhoon, please keep safe.
Windspeed is 126 kph (78 mph) and wind gusts of 180 kph (111 mph), so please stay indoors. Stay away from the windows.

And some who are complaining of how they have nothing to eat and those who had to evacuate to a shelter. Please ask your hotel concierge if you can get access to food.
If you do have power, I recommend charge your phone/tablets/pocket mifi if possible. Conserve battery power, as you will want to get information while the typhoon is in the area.
There are people who are saying their buildings are swaying. Please keep calm.
UPDATE: The typhoon has now passed from Tokyo but is now making its way west. Please continue to stay safe!
