If you are looking for a hip place to drink your coffee and hang out with friends or a place to have meetings, Jinnan Cafe in Shibuya is a location that is absolutely perfect for that occasion.
What’s so cool about the location is the numerous space it has.
From terrace seating on the first floor (indoors and outdoors), to the party room in the basement level, it’s a very cool area for coffee and spirits and even taking someone out for a date for something to eat and drink.
For the most part, because the place is typically crowded and spacious, it’s not a cafe to wait on a waitress to come to serve you, you will need to be proactive and go up to the counter area to make your order.
Prices are reasonable for food, but if you are there for a quick drink, it may seem pricey but for a Shibuya cafe, it’s actually on-par with other areas in Shibuya and Shinjuku area.

For the most part, it’s one of the more fashionable, hip cafe’s to hang out at.
Coffee-wise, it was OK but for a place like Jinnan Cafe, I was more there to hang out with friends or for the social aspect (primarily for language chat meetups for Welcome Tokyo) and for that, I give it a thumbs up because it is a conveniently, hip place to be. Although Google Maps does make it hard to find at times. But once you get to know the location, you realize how it’s not far from Cat Street, Yoyogi Park and Shibuya Station.
Overall, Jinnan Cafe is a recommended for a place to hang out with friends, take out a date and for get-togethers. But if you are hungry or want the best coffee, there are so many other places nearby, but to hang out with friends for a long while, then Jinnan Cafe is worth visiting!
