So far the LEGO Speed Champions cars I’ve reviewed, they were derived from past championship cars/racers but this one was quite amusing because to be truthful, I’m not sure if it was based on a certain racer/car.
Perusing images of a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback, I saw many images but nothing close to being featured in this LEGO SPEED CHAMPIONS release.
Nevertheless, I was excited because it’s a classic muscle car unlike other car releases and not only was it fun to built but it looks so different and unique among the other LEGO cars in my set that I really like it.
Similar to other cars in the LEGO SPEED CHAMPIONS set, you get minifigure racer with a helmet/visor, a removable cockpit/windshield and it’s not too difficult to put together. One can probably finish it between a half hour or hour.
Overall,the LEGO Speed Champions 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback is a welcomed addition to the LEGO SPEED CHAMPIONS series and another car I recommend!
